Meredith is the founder and editor-in-chief of D-journal.net. Having worked in the fashion and publishing industry for over 10 years, Meredith has worked previously as the Fashion and Beauty Director of Motivate Publishing in Dubai and as a stylist, creative director, fashion journalist and designer. Meredith has collaborated with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari, Sonia Rykiel, Hermés, Dior, Saks Fifth Avenue and Chanel for regional PR and advertising campaigns and editorials. She is also the Brand Director of Capital D Studio and it’s associated brands – D the agency, D-journal.net and The Press Room.
AYAAD DAMOUNI
Our publisher! Ayaad is regarded as one of the best photographers to be based in the Middle East. He has shot the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and a multitude of other celebrities from the West and the Arab World and worked for every major fashion title including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Marie Claire. Coming from Sydney, Ayaad is also the founder and MD of Dubai’s favourite professional studio facility, Capital D Studio but finds the time to write for D-journal about things that he loves – cars, parties, watches, polo …
MOHAMMED SULTAN AL HABTOOR
Moh is know internationally as a creative, writer, model, stylist and boy about town. He has walked in Paris, just recently closing the last Kenzo men’s show for Antonio Marras, (SS12) and is constantly jet setting to follow fashion and arts events internationally. As well as writing and styling shoots for D-journal.net Moh also has his own blog mosjournal.com and is the Middle Eastern brand ambassador for Jaeger-LeCoultre.
NADINE KANSO
One of the region’s most highly respected artists and designers, Nadine travels the globe bringing us her photo-essays and perusals of events and conceptual stories in images.
Born in Lebanon, Nadine Kanso spent her childhood there and later gained two degrees from the Lebanese American University. She majored in Communication Arts and Advertising Design, degrees which laid the foundation for her subsequent forays into many diverse fields of artistic production. Her photo-based work develops the controversial theme of the Arab identity today.
Nadine Kanso’s dedication to using the creative arts to express her unique way of viewing the world manifests itself in more than just jewellery through Bil Arabi and extends to several different disciplines.

Sam is our resident party girl, creative genius and entrepreneur. She has lived in Sydney, LA and New York and travels between. Sam is an art director, fashion boutique owner, band promoter, and writer.
