Lip lock drama

Benetton are used to stealing the limelight with their teasing ad campaigns. In previous years we’ve seen death row inmates and AIDS sufferers and now the Italian brand has release a series of cheeky photo-shopped images that are coined ‘Unhate’ and we are sure that even they didn’t think they were really going to get away with is.

Barack Obama is seen kissing the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, whilst the Pope is shown locking lips with Ahmed Mohamed el-Tayeb, a senior Egyptian imam. Understandably, outrage broke out at the Vatican, forcing the removal of the image – effective immediately. The other images still stand tall in Benetton stores. But for how long?
