Shirts to Save Japan

UNIQLO will market a line of Save Japan! UT T-shirts with words of encouragement from celebrities all over the world.
Proceeds are projected to reach over US$1.2 milion and will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help rebuild the areas affected by the earthquake that hit East Japan the 11th of March 2011.
The Save Japan! project is a website launched 6 hours after the earthquake struck to dissiminate disaster relief information across the globe. It was made possible through the aid of Conde Nast Group, Vogue Japan, and GQ Japan.
Save Japan! UT shirts will come in 10 variations, carrying messages from Karl Lagerfeld, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham, Lada Gaga, Cyndi Lauper, Orlando Bloom, Blake Lively, Gwyneth Paltrow and Alber Elbaz. It will hit UNIQLO stores around the world from June 25, 2011 and will priced at US$18.30.
